KDUR Radio Learning Outcomes

KDUR, volunteer-powered community radio, creates a bridge between Fort Lewis College and La Plata County, offering diverse music, alternative news, and local public affairs programming. KDUR also provides educational and training opportunities in a professional setting for Fort Lewis College students and community members. Students enrolled at FLC have the option to take the radio practicum course. This course teaches students to be comfortable on air piloting a radio show, to work with Adobe Audition and create audio files and to learn the rules and regulations of public radio.

Community volunteers at KDUR have the opportunity to learn the in's and out's of working in our state of the art studio. We have over 18,000 CD's and 3,500 LP's in our music library, come get involved and broaden your musical horizons!
