My perception of what art is has changed over the years.  I now view it simply as maybe a more refined extension of how differently someone might be lucky enough to see the world, and his or her ability to express that view.  I always consider myself fortunate to be someone with a slightly skewed vision of my surroundings, and just hope that I can continue to find ways in which to show others that snapshot of my mind.

My piece for this show is entitled, “Dinner is Served”.  Even as the idea came to me for this table, I truly enjoyed the entire process of creating it.  The food makes me laugh, and I get a kick out of the old ads as well.  I think it would be fun to be able to sit down to a different meal each time, depending on my mood, occasionally even sitting “left of center”.  This table will hopefully serve to make a person smile, at the very least.
