McCarson L. Jones

I am a Durango Colorado based photographer, specializing in Weddings, Food and Product as well as Portraiture and Fine Art Photography.  

I take pride in working closely with my clients and giving them what they have asked for at a price that they can afford. I enjoy environmental photography sessions; those outside the studio.  Having a relationship with a photographer, prior to a shoot, is imperative.  Getting to know the subject of a photo is definitely something I strive for and this helps me collect the true essence of the person or a project. 

When I am not documenting a wedding, photographing a product or taking that special family photo, I am usually planning some community artistic endeavor with my close friends.

Education:

Bachelor in Social Work, a Masters in Conflict Resolution and Professional Photography skills learned from a loved one.

Passion in Art:

Capturing grace and refinement, documenting the moment of a reality and the strange and eclectic. Bringing images world wide to the local viewer. Helping the community promote the arts through photography and art shows.

Aaron is a fine craftsman and owner of 9 Dot Builders. His work consists of historic home renovations to commercial spaces to building new custom furniture and restoring the older pieces that you cannot let go of.. He encourages people to think out of the box and have more fluid construction in life. Aaron's artistic history consists of building boats, custom pieces and now the Shoji Screen. A skilled woodworker and artisan, when it comes to Aaron, his work is always a custom job.
